Fake Returns

During the past year, an inordinate number of people have been doing fake returns.  Not only that but the are making fake receipts as well. They somehow were making fraudulent returns.  The shops have literally lost billions.  What is even worse is that they are returning dirty and stained clothes claiming they came that way. They have been making sure that they are doing fake returns for the top of the line merchandise only. They estimate that over one hundred and one billion U.S. dollars or 1.9 Billion Euros.  That is ridiculous.  When polled over twenty-three percent admitted to doing fake returns at least once a month. Forty-three percent admitted to doing wardrobe fake returns a few times a year and thirty percent admitted to giving phony receipts on several occasions. It is clear that the luxury item return cost the most to the retaiers. They are trying to initiate programs to stop this cheating and stealing.  I recently ordered two different items online.  Both times I ordered small and was sent XXXL. After weeks of emails, chats, etc. the store said return in person for a credit.  My daughter went for me with the order numbers so that they could look it all up and issue a credit to me.  What amazes me is that the blatant and shameless lying, cheating and stealing.  Why do people believe it is just absolutely acceptable to steal from large corporations and even luxury shops.  No matter how you look at it, it is just plain wrong.  People just don’s seem to care anymore.  The trouble is that most of the larger companies employee thousands of individuals.  By stealing they are also harming people who count on their weekly paycheck. I just cannot imagine anyone doing that, can you? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
