Americans should be proud of Rep. Cory Mills. He flew to Israel to rescue stranded Americans. So far, he has rescued thirty-two. While the White House is contemplating what to do he took action. He is planning to rescue more people as soon as possible. This man is a hero. He is saving lives while risking his own. He is a man who should be in the White House as he cares about the American people. There are very few people in life who will risk everything to help their fellow human beings. The amount of effort he had to go through to land in a combat zone and save those people is admirable. Lack of action in life in general usually leads to additional problems. People who procrastinate have more issues than if they just stepped up to the plate. The continual delay always ends up costing more whether in this case it is lives, money, or different types of harm to others. Yesterday on Facebook seemed to be all about women being abused and controlled by basically evil men. One video showed a woman and man at a pizza parlor. He ordered two slices of pizza. When they were delivered to their table, he looked at his girlfriend and said, “Didn’t you eat yesterday?” When she affirmed yes, he took her slice. A few people saw what was happening and one called the police. The police woman quietly slipped in while the man was threatening to hit the woman with a backhanded slap. She grabbed him and cuffed him. The individuals in the restaurant were heroes and helped save this woman. Just like the Americans stranded in Israel, many women are literally stuck in situations that they begin to believe they cannot find a way out. There are personality traits that coincide with this type of behavior. Of course, your personal favorite and mine is the narcissist. This category also includes obsessive compulsive and the schizophrenic. The people of American should give a strong heartfelt thanks to Rep. Cory Mills, don’t you agree?
