It is interesting when a person who thinks they are running everything suddenly discovers that they are not and what their control reaction might be. For example, a person may be in charge of a project and then others object to his plan. He becomes angry because he has lost control over the project and the workers. His lack of control reaction might be raising his voice, or worse having an adult temper tantrum by throwing papers and other objects. There are individuals who always needs to be in control, have the upper hand and call all the shots. They often are short tempered if they do not get their way and people do not behave in accordance with their wishes. I think they are spoiled adults. Children who cannot handle events usually learn over time that everything does not always go their way and they cannot have everything they want. However, the weak parents who give into their children or the ones who cannot be bothered to teach their children to not have temper tantrums. They do their children an injustice as they grow into adults who make too many mistakes. The narcissist is truly in a class all by themselves. I have seen posts on Facebook about their control reactions. Their goal is to control anything and everything. This includes husbands or wives, children, workmates, their personal lives, and almost anything else. When they do not get their way, they lose it. I have seen a male person smash things because he lost control. I just saw a woman who has a good husband destroy him on Facebook publicly. The worst part is that the husband wants to reconcile and didn’t do anything wrong. He has not cheated and is a hard worker. He has provided for his family and yet now the soon to be ex went out of her way to destroy him. It appears since she can no longer control her situation, she is moving on. I find this behavior appalling, don’t you? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
