While browsing through the news ttoday on the internet, it seemed to be overflowing with scandals.  Most of it was political, but still it was not pleasant.  I am not interested in the personal lives and romantic types of scandals that people allow to be publicised.  Why do they wish to be exposed?  What they do privately is there business. However, if they are trying to have a pristine image in politics, they are not behaving in an appropriate manner. Not to mention that it is the holiday season yet this information seems to be blasting across our screens. What happened to nice storries, people helping others or something interesting about animals or pets?  Where have these stories disappeared to?  Certainly the weather is a good topic as it is the winter in the majority of the world including North America and Europe. There should be articles about keeping warm and sales on long underwear. For example, it has been cold in California lately. I told Miss Patty rather than put on cold clothing, warm each piece up with a hair dryer.  That way your body does not have to work as hard to warm up. We even discussed long underwear and we both agree that silk is ideal for women. It retains the heat which all we really care about.  This is far more interesting than what the husbands and wives and their friends are doing in a scandalous way.  What is also amazing about this is how do the news people find out about their actions so that they can be publicised. I have often heard that any publicity is good publicity, do you believe that? I sure do not.The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
