Today I saw an article about celebrities who do not have good hygene. I was surprised. The old saying “Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” didn’t seem to be accurate.I found it amazing that several celebrities do not even bathe. A few do not wear deoderant. They must be fabulous to be near in the heat during the summer. One celebrity never washes his hair. I do not understand how people can live that way. It is amazing that they haven’t had COVID, the flu or pneumonia. Can you image what it might be like when they take their socks and shoes off? People who do not wear socks or nylons with shoes are just asking for a foot fungus. Then there are the people who do not wash their hands after using the restroom. How can they eat or touch food? When COVID came I became even more more germ conscious. I even used disinfectant wipes to clean every item I purchased at the grocery. There are also the people who purchase sheets, towels, clothes, undergarments, etc. and do no wash them first. It is bordering on wishing to catch some type of germ. Good hygene starts when are children. We learned and we taught children. One time I was fixing something with super glue. It ended up being stuck to my finger. My son saw it and said, “Good luck with that glue. It will be on there for six months.” Actually, the amount of times I wash my hands cooking solved the problem within twenty-four hours. He couldn’t believe it. Many people have a phobia. I do not. I just believe in keeping everything clean. How do you feel about good hygene?
