Brave Thinking

People are often afraid of life, events, work, family members and of others in general.  Their fears prevent them from doing things, taking chances, making the right decisions, or even applying for a better position. What they need is brave thinking.  They need to believe in themselves.  However, it is often difficult for many people to live their lives with people telling them they are a loser, failure, stupid and have no concept of the real world.  The narcissist or even borderline one will continually put down a person they are in a relationship with.  This could include a husband, wife, sibling or even an adult child.  They may believe they are superior when in reality they are not.  Telling people they have no skills to do anything is wrong.  We all have various abilities just not the same.  A person may paint beautifully but have no clue how to manager their money. A husband or wife may marry a person they consider to be inferior to them so that they can control them.  One of the things a controlling person does is make sure that they make more money than their partner.  In that way they have the upper hand.  Where brave thinking begins is not accepting all the negativity that they are being told.  There are so many people on Facebook and YouTube trying to help others, often without a fee, to believe in themselves again.  It takes brave thinking to apply for a position you know you are qualified to handle but afraid to try.  It takes brave thinking to leave a marriage because of the continual insults and basic put downs of a person.  Look at what Katie Holmes did.  She realized what her life was really like and she took the steps and made the plans to change her life.  It is not easy for anyone but even if a person takes baby steps, they can move forward and keep their brave thinking in perspective, don’t you agree?
