Many individuals are involvent literally around the world due to massive layoffs, becoming redundant, inflation, and over extending their purchases. There is so much debt collection for new companies and former small businsses are increasing in size. There are ads on Facebook all the time about ways to pay off your debt. The sad part is that credit card bills are so high due to interest and fines if you are late. Some individuals run up their credit card bills, then file bankrupcty. Once they are no longer in debt, they do it all over again. I know a person who has already filed twice to wipe out all of his debt. He is driving a new electric car and once again owes everyone. The local pawn shops know him by name. Now enough time has elapsed and he is about to do it again. He owes his attorney over eighteen thousand dollars or nineteen thousand five hundred thirty Euros. If you think about it, it should be labeled as stealing. He files in different states. However, someday he will be caught. In the meantime, all the good paying parties will have higher interest rates because of involvent people. The debt for college students is outrageous. The fees are quite high but if you review the salaries of the staff, you will realize that is the real reason. Many professiors and heads of colleges and univerities in the states make over one million dollars or one milion eight hundred fifty thousand Euros. That is a significant income. It puts a student in debt for life unless they are fortunate to earn a high salary. I paid for both of my children’s college tuition. While in Europe, the rates were significantly lower as I am an Irish citizen. I have family members who have been paying off their debt for well over ten years.
