Stretch the Truth

Have you ever noticed how often people stretch the truth? For example, take a look at the royal family.  I am not even sure they comprehend the truth particuarly Harry and Meghan. Everyday there are new videos abouth them stretching the truth.  There are types of rumors flying that are not worth repeating.  I specifically dislike the gossip about their children.  They should be left out as they are too young.  I did read a while ago that Meghan did have a daughter but she is not in the picture.  Obviously, the gossip and rumors are all about money, but why is it necessary?  Of course, in life we all know that politicians stretch the truth sometimes beyond comprehension. How can we even begin to believe anything when so much is a lie?  It is quite difficult.  I know that when we were young we did exaggerate and stretch the truth with lines such as, “The dog ate my homework;” “I lost it on the way to school;” and a variety of other ridiculous excuses.  I believe that when people stretch the truth besides being a lie that it is often an excuse. There are times when pejople add a slight amount of truth to make their lie believable. I think that the worst part about stretching the truth is when a person is caught telling the lie.  Then they either lie more, deny or finally admit the reality of whatever they were hiding. On many of the TV shows and even videos on Facebook the lyingn is followed by being caught and then the reasons for their actions which are not even remotely believable. The most famous line for almost any error, crime, bad mistake is usually that they didn’t mean to do it.  We all have a brain and a conscious so yes you did mean to do it, don’t you agree?
